The Tribal Nations Policy Institute (TNPI) at ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law is a research institute and solutions incubator dedicated to supporting American Indian and Alaska Native peoples nationwide.
TNPI conducts research on the critical issues facing Tribal Nations, develops and evaluates policy solutions and advances Tribal sovereignty through innovative initiatives. The institute also builds leadership and capacity in Tribal communities through programs that equip current and emerging leaders with the knowledge and tools to address today's challenges.
TNPI envisions a future in which Tribal Nations thrive through strong governance, informed policymaking and self-determination. Guided by meaningful partnerships with Tribal governments and communities, we advance tribally driven solutions that strengthen Tribal sovereignty, build leadership capacity and empower Native communities to shape their own futures.
